These little treats are a chocolately, marshmallowy, biscuity bite – and all gluten and dairy free!

This recipe is perfect when you are short on time as it only has two simple stages, mixing together the biscuit base and then topping with melted chocolate. The hands on time is less then 10 minutes with about 1 hour max for chilling time.




  • 110g dairy free spread
  • 2 tablespoons golden syrup
  • 25g dairy free cocoa powder
  • 150g gluten free digestive biscuits, crushed into crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons mini marshmallows
  • 1 tablespoon sultananas
  • 200g dairy free dark chocolate


  1. In a small saucepan place the dairy free spread and golden syrup
  2. Heat gently until melted and well combined
  3. Stir in the cocoa powder, crushed biscuits, marshmallows and sultanas
  4. Grease and line a traybake pan
  5. Press the biscuit mix into the pan and flatten down with the back of a spoon
  6. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes
  7. Break up the dairy free chocolate and place in small bowl
  8. Microwave for 1 minute or until the chocolate has melted
  9. Pour over the biscuit mix
  10. Refrigerate until the chocolate has set
  11. Remove from the tin and cut into small squares
