Gluten & Dairy Free Dark Chocolate Madeleines

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 100 g caster sugar
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 120 g gluten free plain flour
  • 100 g dairy free spread melted
  • 100 g dairy free dark chocolate
  • 1 tbsp sprinkles double check they are gluten free


  • Preheat the oven to 180 oC
  • Whisk together the eggs, honey and caster sugar for a couple of minutes
  • Stir in the baking powder, flour and melted dairy free spread
  • Grease a silicone madeleine mould
  • Fill each mould 3/4 full
  • Bake for 12 minutes
  • Remove gently from the mould and allow to cool completely
  • Melt the dairy free dark chocolate
  • Dip the end of each madeleine into the chocolate and then add the sprinkles
  • Allow the chocolate to set before serving
