A simple but tasty start to the day, just remember to check the chorizo you buy doesn’t contain milk.


  • 2 eggs
  • 300g baked beans
  • 100g chorizo, check it is dairy free
  • 1 teaspoon fresh chives

  1. Dice the chorizo into small chunks
  2. Gently sauce in a small saucepan for a couple of minutes
  3. Bring a pan of water to the boil then reduce to a simmer
  4. Crack in each egg and poach for 3-6 minutes depending on how runny you like your yolk
  5. Heat the beans in the microwave for 2-3 minutes
  6. Split the beans between the 2 bowls, top with the poached eggs, chorizo and sprinkle over the chives
