Ingredients

  • 230g gluten free self raising flour
  • 115g caster sugar
  • 115g dairy free spread
  • 115g apple, peeled, cored and cubed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons dairy free milk

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 oC
  2. In a large bowl combine the flour and cinnamon
  3. Rub in the dairy free spread
  4. Stir in the sugar and apple pieces
  5. Add the egg and milk to form a sticky dough
  6. Divide the mixture into 6 buns and place on a baking sheet
  7. Bake in the centre of the oven for 25 minutes
  8. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving
