  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 red onion finely diced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil chopped
  • 400 grams chopped tomatoes
  • salt and pepper for seasoning
  • 150 grams gluten free tagliatelle


  • Add the olive oil into a shallow pan over a medium heat
  • Add in the garlic and onion and saute for 5 minutes
  • Stir in the tomatoes, seasoning and fresh basil
  • Cook on low for 15 - 20 minutes until the sauce has thickened
  • While the sauce is cooking boil your gluten free tagliatelle
  • Stir the sauce through the tagliatelle and serve
