Serves 2


  • 650g pork short ribs
  • Salt and pepper for seasoning
  • 100g BBQ sauce, I used Heinz as it is naturally gluten free


  1. Place the ribs in a large pan of salted boiling water
  2. Cover and boil gently for an hour
  3. Heat the oven to 160 oC
  4. Place the ribs in a casserole dish, coat with the BBQ sauce, cover in foil and bake for 1 hour
  5. I served mine with coleslaw, Aunty Bessie’s gluten free oven chips and Tesco gluten free onion rings
