Equipment

  • Waffle Iron

Ingredients

  • 600 g potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 40 ml dairy free milk
  • 1 tablespoon dairy free spread
  • 40 g dairy free cheese grated
  • 30 g gluten free plain flour
  • salt and pepper for seasoning

Instructions

  • Bring a pan of water to the boil and add the potatoes
  • Boil for 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender
  • Drain away the water and place the potatoes in a bowl
  • Mash the potatoes and stir in the dairy free milk, dairy free spread, dairy free cheese andĀ gluten free plain flour
  • Season with salt and pepper
  • Stir until well combined and then divide into 8 balls
  • Preheat the waffle iron
  • Grease the waffle iron with some cooking spray
  • Cook each ball of mashed potato until crisp, about 7 minutes
