Gluten and Dairy Free Potato & Chicken Sausage Hash

Serves 2


  • 2 gluten free chicken sausages, I got mine in M&S
  • 250g new potatoes, halved
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 pepper, sliced
  • 1 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 avocado, peeled and sliced
  • pinch of chilli flakes, optional
  • salt and pepper for seasoning


  1. Place the potatoes in a pan of salted boiling water for 10 minutes or until tender, drain and set aside
  2. Slice the chicken sausages into rings
  3. In a shallow pan over a medium heat add a drizzle of olive oil
  4. Add in the garlic, paprika, onion, pepper and the sausages
  5. Saute for 5 minutes
  6. Add in the potatoes and sauté for 10 minutes
  7. Season to taste with salt and pepper
  8. Divide between two bowls and top with the sliced avocado and chilli flakes
