Gluten and Dairy Free Penne Alla Vodka

  • 200 g gluten free pasta
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 30 ml vodka
  • 250 g canned chopped tomatoes
  • 8 cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 80 ml dairy free cream
  • salt and pepper for seasoning


  • Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet
  • Add the olive oil to a shallow pan over a medium heat
  • Sauté the onions and garlic for 5 minutes
  • Add in the tomatoes and cook for a couple of minutes
  • Pour in the vodka and simmer for 5 minutes
  • Stir in the dairy free cream, oregano and seasoning
  • Simmer for 5 minutes
  • Stir through the cooked pasta and serve immediately
