Maple Baked Apples

  • 2 apples cored and halved
  • 2 tbsps maple syrup
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp cashew or peanuts
  • 6 tbsps dairy free yoghurt


  • Preheat the oven to 180 oC
  • Mix together the maple syrup and ground cinnamon
  • Place the apples skin side down in a casserole dish
  • Drizzle with the maple syrup mix
  • Bake in the oven for 35 minutes or until the apples are soft
  • Spoon the yoghurt onto two plates and top with the baked apples and sprinkle on the cashew nuts
