  • 270 g gluten free oats
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon treacle
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons sultanas


  • Preheat the oven to 150 oC
  • Heat the sugar, cinnamon, ginger, treacle and oil in a small saucepan for 5 minutes
  • Place the oats in a large bowl and pour in the syrup mix
  • Stir until well coated
  • Spread out a large baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes
  • Remove from the oven and stir the oats
  • Return to the oven for 10 minutes
  • Allow to cool then stir in the sultanas
