Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 pepper diced
  • 3 garlic clove minced
  • 300 g prawns peeled and prepped

For the sauce:

  • 4 tbsps boiling water
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 tbsps tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp tamari
  • 2 tsps cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp chilli flakes

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a shallow saucepan over a medium heat
  • Stir in the onion, pepper, garlic and saute for 5 minutes
  • Add in the prawns and cook for 2 minutes
  • Stir together all the ingredients for the sauce and pour into the pan over the prawns
  • Cook for a couple of minutes until thickened
  • Serve over rice
