Crispy Cheesy Chicken

  • 2 chicken breasts flattened into steaks
  • 4 tbsps gluten free breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg beaten
  • salt and pepper for seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons tomato pasta sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cheese grated


  • Preheat the oven to 200 oC
  • Add the beaten egg into a bowl and the breadcrumbs and seasoning into another bowl
  • Dip the chicken into the egg and then the breadcrumbs
  • Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a shallow pan over a medium heat
  • Cook the chicken for 4 minutes on each side
  • Transfer to a lined baking sheet
  • Top with the tomato sauce and dairy free cheese
  • Bake in the oven for 20 minutes
