Chilli Beef Pasta
A hearty pasta dish with spiced chilli beef, peppers and onions

Ingredients
- 180 g gluten free pasta
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 small red chilli chopped
- 1 green pepper chopped
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 250g minced beef
- 300 ml passata
- 1 tsp caster sugar
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp basil
- salt and pepper for seasoning
- 2 tbsp dairy free grated cheese optional
Instructions
- Cook the pasta per the instructions on the packet while you are making the sauce
- Add the olive oil to a large shallow pan over a medium heat
- Saute the onion, garlic, pepper, chilli and beef for 5 minutes
- Pour in the passata and simmer for 20 minutes
- Stir in the sugar, oregano, basil and season to taste
- Stir through the cooked pasta
- As an option you can top with some dairy free grated cheese and place under the grill for a couple of minutes
