Ingredients
For the waffles:
- 100g gluten free self raising flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon caster sugar
- 1 egg
- 120ml dairy free milk
For the apples:
- 2 apples, cored and cut into thin wedges
- 15g dairy free spread
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
Directions
- Stir together the flour, cinnamon and sugar in a large bowl
- Whisk in the egg and milk until you have a smooth batter
- Heat up the waffle iron
- Cook for 5 minutes or until golden brown
- Place the apples, dairy free spread, cinnamon and brown sugar into a shallow pan over a medium heat
- Cook for about 5 minutes or until the apples are soft
- Serve on top of the waffles
