Happy Saturday! I have my niece over for the day and we are planning on doing some baking. I’m thinking triple chocolate cookies and maybe some garlic tear and share bread we can have for dinner.
The weather has been freezing here – we even had a load of snow yesterday. Although I have been making a few winter recipes – like leek and potato soup and warming chicken madras curry – I still crave the odd smoothie bowl for breakfast.
I made this chocolate and cashew smoothie bowl the other week and it is now a firm favourite. I’ve cashew butter, frozen banana, cocoa powder and dairy free coconut yoghurt for the smoothie base. You can then top if with anything you fancy – I went with gluten free granola, strawberries, cashew nuts and a square of dairy free dark chocolate.
