Autumn seems to be officially here and the cafes are full of pumpkin spiced offerings. My favourite find so far has been this gluten and dairy free carrot cupcake topped with pumpkin spiced frosting. We went to the local bakery next to work for a little Friday lunchtime treat – I was very impressed.
That made up for the day before when I picked up a soya milk pumpkin spiced latte from another cafe. It was so sweet (and I love sweet things) it was almost undrinkable. That inspired me to make this recipe for a pumpkin spiced hot chocolate that celebrates the pumpkin and chocolate without it just being a syrupy nightmare.
