My Dad and I both love anything that is chocolatey while my Mum and sister tend to like more savoury things. Rather than make a full blown chocolate cake when everyone was visiting I decided to make a vanilla cake and top with chocolate icing to try and appeal to everyone.
The sponge is light and fluffy and perfectly compliments the rich sweet chocolate frosting.
